Don't buy JBL Bluetooth headphones in 2024

JBL Vibe Buds

JBL is a brand known internationally for its various sound products, professional and for home use. A few months ago I had a very bad experience with some JBL in-ear headphones, a fairly inexpensive model, the JBL Vibe Buds to be more exact.

Nothing can go wrong if we buy JBL Bluetooth headphones, right? My experience after using them without installing the application, where is the Deep Bass that they mention so much in the advertising? The sound is like that of generic headphones for less than 10 dollars, they sound as if they had removed all the bass. The most logical thing would be to think that by installing the App the Deep Bass would work, but no, the application simply does not detect the headphones and if we go to the comments of the application on Google Play we see that many users have the same problem, many of us cannot connect the devices to the application, a total disappointment.

There are already two negative points here.

  • Deep Bass not working without the App.
  • App not working.

They may say, “your device is not compatible,” but I tested it on a Samsung Galaxy S20 and a Motorola G42, so I doubt it.

  1. How to solve it?

How to solve it?

Asking for a return and reading reviews before purchasing. No matter how hard I tried to get them to work well, it just couldn't be done. Personally, I am not one to buy Bluetooth devices, but this experience left the brand in a bad light, the first impression with a product counts, it should work the first time. Maybe it was just bad luck, it could happen that those headphones especially have problems, anyway. If you have a problem like this, I invite you to leave a comment on Google Play, maybe this way they will improve their products based on the comments.
